To ensure performance, high-quality brass with uniform neck thickness is necessary. Ideal bushing size can be found by measuring the loaded neck diameter and subtracting 0.002 - 0.003 inches or calculating (neck wall thickness x 2) + bullet diameter - 0.001 inches. For adaptability, RCBS recommends keeping bushings slightly above and below your desired size.
