The neck reamer works with original, classic and power case trimmers. Made from high-grade, wear-resistant tool steel, the Forster neck reamer is ground to standard dimensions that are 0.0025 inches - 0.003 inches larger than the maximum bullet diameter. Its staggered tooth design allows for smooth brass cutting without chatter. Thick case necks can cause high chamber pressures and inconsistent bullet flight. Installed in the cutter of a Forster case trimmer in place of the pilot, the neck reamer efficiently removes excess brass from the neck walls. It is intended for use after firing cases with a full load and before neck or full length sizing.
