The neck reamer is compatible with original, classic and power case trimmers. Constructed from high-grade, wear-resistant tool steel, the Forster neck reamer features standard dimensions that are ground to be 0.0025 inches - 0.003 inches larger than the maximum bullet diameter. Its staggered tooth design ensures smooth cutting of brass without chatter. Excessively thick case necks can lead to elevated chamber pressures and erratic bullet trajectories. The Forster neck reamer is installed in the cutter of a Forster case trimmer, replacing the pilot, to efficiently remove excess brass from the neck walls. Standard Neck Reamers are designed for use after cases have been fired with a full load and prior to the neck or full-length sizing process.
