The shank is constructed as a single piece, looped and wound, rather than two twisted pieces cut off. Our nylon bore brushes are designed to withstand new-generation bore cleaners that aggressively target copper and bronze-based bullet jacket fouling, which can be harsh on bronze cleaning brushes. These nylon brushes resist such cleaners and prevent accuracy-compromising scratches.
