PSA is expanding the Saber-11 family with a new ported variant, built in response to customer feedback asking for a flatter-shooting, competition-ready option. While the main focus is currently on launching the standard Saber-11, this ported version is already in development and was previewed ahead of SHOT Show.
What Makes the Saber-11 Ported Different?
The Saber -11 Ported keeps the core design philosophy of the original model, but adds performance-focused upgrades:
- Ported 5-inch barrel and ported slide for reduced muzzle rise
- All-billet construction (no cast parts)
- Full-length dust cover for added weight and stability
- AOS optic mounting system for easy red dot compatibility
- New aluminum grip module developed with Icorus
- Ships with two 19-round Checkmate magazines
- Magazines are compatible with other double-stack 1911-style pistols
Where It Fits in the Lineup
- The standard Saber-11 is the current priority for release
- The Saber-11 Ported will follow once the base model is established
- This gives shooters a future option focused more on recoil control and fast follow-up shots
What’s Next?
PSA will continue releasing preview videos leading up to and through SHOT Show, showcasing upcoming products in the Saber lineup and beyond.
