In 2023, Shield alleged that PSA’s Micro Dagger magazine infringed on their patents. After refusing resolution, PSA sought a federal declaratory judgment. The court ruled decisively in PSA’s favor, agreeing on nearly every issue and even invalidating Shield’s claims. The judgment confirmed the Micro Dagger does not infringe. PSA emphasizes it did not start the fight but will always defend its innovations, customers, employees, and integrity.
VA Residents: Due to upcoming state regulations, certain firearm purchases will be restricted beginning in June. Third party drop ship orders must be placed by June 19, all PSA warehoused affected firearm orders by June 23, and all PSA warehoused non-serialized affected orders by June 30.
