The top surface uses a brushed, suede-like fabric for durability and a softer feel, while the polyester bottom adds abrasion resistance. Inflation and deflation are managed through non-corrosive brass valves, including dual valves on larger sizes for faster setup. The pad is available in multiple sizes (Regular, Long, and XL), with lengths from 72 to 77 inches and widths from 20 to 30 inches, and it packs down into a compact roll secured by compression straps inside the included stuff sack. Each pad also includes a repair kit for field maintenance, and its high insulation value (R-value up to about 9.8) supports use in colder conditions.
