This cartridge can deliver a 160-225 grain bullet at supersonic speeds or a 285-350 grain bullet at subsonic speeds. Each 8.6 Blackout case manufactured by Alpha Munitions features the company's optimized case design (OCD) with enhanced case head technology. This design aims to extend the lifespan of the primer pocket and the case itself, even under higher-than-normal pressures and velocities. The 8.6 Blackout brass is designed for use with large rifle primers.
